ABOUT 

VARDAAN CHAWLA // BIO

​

Vardaan Chawla is a Music Composer, Producer and Singer-Songwriter based in Gurugram, India. 

​

His music journey started at the age of 6, while his formal training started when he decided to purse music full- time at the age of 18. Along with studying both Hindustani and Western Classical Music at the Delhi School of Music and A.R. Rahman's KM Music Conservatory in Chennai, Vardaan started experimenting with music production on an iPad in 2012, and started composing background scores for short films and videos.

 

He finished his Diploma in Music Production and Audio Engineering from Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music, taught by Mr. Paul Waller. This quickly escalated to composing and producing for Digital Film Studios and Advertising companies and had him finally set up his own Professional Recording Studio in 2019 called 'Dhvanyankan Studios'.

 On October 7th, 2020, Vardaan officially released his Debut single - 'Kyun Nahi'. The simplicity, the mellow tones of the Guitar and Cello, and the lyrics have been described as 'heart-melting' by the hundreds and thousands of fans this song has gathered.

His music is mostly influenced by A.R. Rahman, Hans Zimmer, John Mayer and Lt. Madan Mohan.

"I think travelling has helped me the most in discovering my sound and my voice. Spending time with myself and writing everything that I feel has changed everything for me. Oh and yes, Coffee ofcourse!"

He currently spends his days in the Studio, while nights are spent on the Stage with his Band, performing in different cities across the globe at various Private and Corporate events.
